The Old Fellwock Auto Company, constructed in 1923 in Evansville, Indiana, exemplifies Prairie School architecture in its refined, Sullivanesque design. Created by the architectural firm Shopbell & Company in collaboration with Edward J. Thole—who would later become a partner in the firm—the building represents a notable local expression of Frank Lloyd Wright's influential architectural vocabulary. Recognized by Evansville preservationists as a "creditable Sullivanesque essay," the structure was honored with listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, acknowledging its historical and architectural significance.
