Olhörn Lighthouse, built in 1952 on the southeastern corner of the German North Sea island of Föhr in Schleswig-Holstein, is a modest beacon constructed of brick-clad masonry standing 8.6 metres tall. Erected to replace an earlier light beacon from 1892, the nearly square tower rises above a shallow ridge overlooking Wyk auf Föhr's southern beach, with its white metal lantern room positioned at a focal height of 10 metres above mean high water. The structure serves as a cross light marking the Norderaue tidal channel between the mainland port of Dagebüll and the islands of Föhr and Amrum, functioning both as an automated navigational aid and a daymark for passing vessels.
