Orlando City Hall, completed in 1992, is a nine-story postmodern government headquarters in downtown Orlando designed by Heller Manus Architects. Located at the CNL Center City Commons on the corner of South Orange Avenue and South Street, the $32 million building was constructed by Lincoln Property Company and financed through revenue bonds. Its design draws inspiration from classical civic architecture, featuring a prominent 120-foot copper dome and sculptural granite aggregate precast concrete panels. The centerpiece is the "Great Room," a rotunda-like entrance space serving as the city's formal and informal gathering place, with a dramatic grand staircase leading to the city council chambers. The building replaced its eight-story predecessor, whose demolition was filmed for the opening sequence of the 1992 action film *Lethal Weapon 3*.
