The Owyhee County Courthouse in Murphy, Idaho, is a single-story Art Deco building constructed in 1936 by the architectural firm Tourtellotte & Hummel. Built of brick, the courthouse showcases the stylistic hallmarks of its era through a prominent entry framed by fluted pilasters flanking a square arch, ornamented with foliated sunburst panels and an entablature featuring floral, triangular, and wavelet designs. A panel above the entrance identifies the building by name. Recognized for its historical significance, the courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
