The Palacio de Benacazón is a palace in Toledo, Spain, and one of the city's most representative examples of traditional domestic architecture. Built probably during the reign of Peter of Castile the Cruel, the building served at various points as the seat of the Inquisition and as the manor house of the Pantoja and Gaytán families, who called it the Palacio de los Pantoja from the sixteenth century onward. Its defining features are its Mudéjar courtyard and ornamental decoration, executed in plasterwork and azulejos (glazed tiles), which remain its principal attractions despite numerous restorations over time. In the twentieth century it housed a medical consultation center before becoming, in its current iteration, the headquarters of the Caja Castilla-La Mancha Foundation, a cultural center for performing arts.
