Located at Plaza Las Delicias in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the Parque de Bombas is a striking Moorish Revival structure designed by Maximo de Meana y Guridi and completed in 1882. Originally constructed as an exhibition pavilion, it was repurposed as Puerto Rico's first fire station and has become one of the island's most recognizable landmarks. The building stands directly behind Ponce Cathedral, commanding the town square with its distinctive architectural style. After the fire station closed in 1990, the structure was converted into a museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
