Pilotburg Church is a Victorian-era frame structure located southeast of Wellman, Iowa, originally built in 1881 by the Methodist Episcopal Church as the town's second place of worship. Measuring 50 by 20 feet, the modest timber-frame building represents the sole surviving structure from Pilotburg, a settlement founded in 1839 as Pilots Grove. In the 1950s, the church was relocated from its original limestone foundation to a concrete block basement, with a kitchen added during the same renovation. The Methodist congregation disbanded in 1968, after which the building was sold and converted into a private residence. The church was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
