Point Perpendicular Light stands on Point Perpendicular at the southern tip of the Beecroft Peninsula in New South Wales, marking the northern entrance to Jervis Bay. Designed by Charles Assinder Harding and completed in 1899, the 21.4-metre structure is believed to be the first lighthouse in New South Wales built of precast concrete blocks, representing an innovative construction technique for its era. The lighthouse operated from 1889 to 1993, when it was decommissioned and replaced with a skeletal tower. Now listed on the Commonwealth Heritage List, the historic structure remains on site, though its future status is uncertain.
