Designed by Kevin Roche and completed in 1975, the Randolph W. Bromery Center for the Arts at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is a striking performing arts facility located just north of downtown Amherst, Massachusetts. The building takes the form of a 646-foot-long bridge of studio art space, elevated 30 feet above the ground to create a monumental gateway for the campus. Housing a concert hall and contemporary art gallery, the center serves as both a cultural hub for the University community and a regional resource for the Pioneer Valley, drawing scholars, faculty, students, and families to the area.
