The Comcast Technology Center is a 60-story supertall skyscraper designed by Norman Foster and completed in 2017 in Center City Philadelphia, at the southwest corner of 18th and Arch Streets. Standing 1,121 feet (342 meters), it is the tallest building in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, and the tallest in the Western Hemisphere outside Manhattan and Chicago. The tower anchors the Comcast Center Campus alongside the older Comcast Center headquarters one block east. Its mixed-use program reflects contemporary corporate architecture: television studios and retail occupy the lower floors, office spaces for Comcast software developers and engineers fill the central sections, while the uppermost levels house a hotel—the nation's highest—along with dining facilities. Personnel began occupying the building in late July 2018, with public opening following in October of that year.
