The Reid-Woods House, built around 1926 in the Whitfield Estates subdivision of southern Manatee County, Florida, exemplifies Mediterranean Revival architecture of the interwar period. A finely detailed structure with an irregular plan, the house features the style's characteristic multiplanar roofs—combining gable, hip, flat, and shed forms—with barrel clay tile covering all but the flat roof sections. The interior floor plan has remained largely intact since the house's listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
