Located at 2510 South Broadway in Little Rock, Arkansas, the Retan House is a modest two-story frame dwelling built in 1915 and designed by Charles L. Thompson in the Prairie School style. The structure features a shallow-pitch hip roof with broad eaves and a single-story front porch with a broad gable roof supported by stone piers. Above the porch, a distinctive band of four multi-pane windows exemplifies Prairie School aesthetics, while a three-part window centered on the front facade and a left-side entrance complete its composition. Thompson considered it among his finer examples of the Prairie School idiom. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
