Reuland Castle stands in Burg-Reuland in southeast Belgium near the German border, likely erected after 1148 by the von Reuland nobility. The castle passed to Count John the Blind and King of Bohemia in 1322, then came under the control of Edmund von Engelsdorf in 1384 when King Wenzel of Luxembourg granted him the castle and surrounding domain as a gift. Now a protected monument of the German-speaking Community of Belgium, the castle survives as a ruin.
