Rincon Center is a mixed-use complex in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood, occupying an entire city block near the Embarcadero between Mission, Howard, Spear, and Steuart Streets. Designed by architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood in the Streamline Moderne style, the complex comprises two buildings, one of which is the former Rincon Annex post office building completed in 1940. The development now houses shops, restaurants, offices, and apartments. Both the individual building and the broader complex hold significant heritage status, designated as a San Francisco Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
