The United States Post Office – Los Angeles Terminal Annex, designed by Gilbert Stanley Underwood and completed in 1940, is a Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival structure located at 900 North Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles. Built as the city's central mail processing facility, the building stands across Cesar Chavez Avenue from Union Station, its Moorish and rustic architectural elements characteristic of Underwood's work during this period. The terminal annex served this crucial function until 1989, and was recognized for its architectural and historical significance when added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
