Built around 1830 in Winchester, Massachusetts, the Robert Bacon House at 6 Mystic Valley Parkway exemplifies the transitional Federal-to-Greek Revival style that defined early nineteenth-century domestic architecture in the region. Constructed for a prosperous local businessman whose now-vanished mills were significant employers of the era, the house remains one of Winchester's rare surviving examples of high-style architecture from this period. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
