The Jacob Stanton House in Winchester, Massachusetts, is a 2½-story wood-frame Greek Revival residence built around 1840 by Deacon Nathan Brooks Johnson, a local blacksmith. Distinguished by a gabled front portico supported by two-story smooth columns, the house features flushboarded main and gable facades, and a second-story balcony with ironwork railings—elements that Johnson, as a skilled metalworker, may have crafted himself. It remains Winchester's only high-style temple-front Greek Revival house. The property later passed to Jacob Stanton, a developer who built the Brown & Stanton Block in downtown Winchester. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
