The Rutland Jewish Center, located at 96 Grove Street in Rutland, Vermont, occupies a Richardsonian Romanesque structure originally built in 1889 as the H. H. Baxter Memorial Library. Now serving as a non-denominational Jewish synagogue and religious community center owned by Congregation Adath Israel, the building exemplifies the robust, rounded-arch style characteristic of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
