Schloss Albrechtsberg is a Neoclassical palace perched above the Elbe river in Dresden's Loschwitz district, built in 1854 for Prince Albert, younger brother of Prussian King Frederick William IV. Designed by Adolf Lohse, a Prussian court and landscaping architect, the stately home exemplifies the refined taste of mid-nineteenth-century German nobility and remains a protected heritage monument in Saxony.
