Seaview Terrace, also known as the Carey Mansion, stands in Newport, Rhode Island as a privately owned mansion completed in 1925. Designed in the Châteauesque style and modeled after French sixteenth-century châteaux, it was the last of Newport's grand "Summer Cottages" to be built and ranks as the fifth-largest mansion in the city, following The Breakers, Ochre Court, Belcourt Castle, and Rough Point. The mansion gained further prominence when its exterior served as the fictional Collinwood Mansion in the television series Dark Shadows. Portions of the main house and its outbuildings were previously leased to Salve Regina University.
