Built around 1907 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, the Shlenker House (also known as the D.J. Shlenker House and Rig Perry House) is a Prairie School style residence that reflects the Jewish immigrant community's presence in the city during the early twentieth century. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983 and designated a Mississippi Landmark in 2000, the house exemplifies the architectural eclecticism that characterized early twentieth-century Vicksburg and is part of the South Cherry Street Historic District.
