Located in West District, Taichung, Taiwan, the Shr-Hwa International Tower is a 47-storey skyscraper completed in 2004 and designed by the architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox. Standing 176.65 metres tall, it was the tallest building in Taichung at the time of its completion, a distinction it held for 14 years until surpassed by The Landmark. The tower's distinctive silhouette evokes a bamboo stalk, a design choice that gives the structure its memorable form. Floors 24 through 45 are occupied by The Landis Taichung, a five-star hotel. As of 2022, the building ranks as Taiwan's 21st tallest structure and the second tallest in central Taiwan.
