The Shukhov Tower in Polibino is a pioneering water tower built in 1895–1896 in the selo of Polibino, Lipetsk Oblast, Russia, designed by engineer and architect Vladimir Shukhov. It stands as the world's first diagrid hyperboloid structure, a revolutionary feat of constructivist engineering that employs a curved gridshell form. Originally erected on the estate of Yury Nechaev-Maltsov, the tower exemplifies Shukhov's innovative approach to structural design and has been recognized as a federal cultural heritage site in Russia.
