The Simi Adobe–Strathearn House in Simi Valley, California, served as headquarters of Rancho Simi, one of Alta California's earliest and largest Spanish colonial land grants at 113,000 acres across present-day Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. Built in 1892–93 for rancho owner Robert P. Strathearn, the Victorian-era structure incorporates two rooms of the original adobe within its design, preserving the architectural legacy of the Spanish colonial settlement. The Strathearn family occupied the house until 1969, when it and nearly 6 acres were donated to the Simi Valley Recreation and Park District. Now located in Robert P. Strathearn Historical Park, the house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and stands as a California Historical Landmark, representing the transition from adobe rancho architecture to nineteenth-century Victorian construction.
