Sloan Park is a baseball venue in Mesa, Arizona, that opened in 2014 as the spring training home of the Chicago Cubs. Designed by the architectural firm Populous and funded by Mesa residents through a ballot measure, the stadium was built to replace the Cubs' previous spring training facility at Hohokam Stadium. With a capacity of 15,000, it is the largest spring training stadium in Major League Baseball. The playing field dimensions closely match those of Wrigley Field, the Cubs' regular-season home, and the park includes multiple secondary training and practice fields. Originally called Cubs Park, it received its current name in 2015 following a naming-rights agreement with Sloan Valve Company. The venue has set numerous attendance records for the Cactus League and also hosts games for the Arizona League Cubs and the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League.
