Sporting Park is a soccer-specific stadium in Kansas City, Kansas, designed by Populous and completed in 2011. Located on the far west side of Wyandotte County near Kansas Speedway, the venue opened on June 9, 2011, with a match against the Chicago Fire. Its primary capacity of 18,467 seats expands to 25,000 for concerts, with typical MLS matches drawing around 21,000 spectators across different stadium configurations. The facility represents Sporting Kansas City's third home, following the team's tenure at Arrowhead Stadium (1996–2007) and CommunityAmerica Ballpark (2008–2010). In 2013, the stadium achieved a unique distinction by hosting the MLS All-Star Game, a United States men's national soccer team match, and the MLS Cup—the only venue to host all three events in a single year.
