LoanDepot Park is a retractable roof stadium in Miami, Florida, home to Major League Baseball's Miami Marlins, completed in March 2012. Designed by Populous in a neomodern architectural style, the facility sits on 17 acres in Little Havana, roughly 2 miles west of downtown, occupying the site of the former Miami Orange Bowl. With 37,442 seats, it ranks as the third-smallest stadium in Major League Baseball by official capacity. The building earned LEED certification as the greenest MLB park at its opening and stands as only the sixth Major League stadium with a retractable roof. Beyond baseball, the venue has hosted significant international tournaments including pools of the World Baseball Classic and the 2017 MLB All-Star Game, along with soccer matches and other winter events.
