Tina Weedon Smith Memorial Hall stands at 805 South Mathews Avenue on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, positioned just east of Foellinger Auditorium and off the main quad. Completed between 1917 and 1921, the Beaux-Arts structure was designed by James M. White and George E. Wright and holds the distinction of being the first building on campus to be entirely funded by private donation. Dedicated to Tina Weedon Smith by her husband, Captain Thomas J. Smith, the hall serves as a versatile venue for university lectures, music classes, speakers, and performances. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
