The Sokollu Mehmed Pasha Mosque in Istanbul's Fatih district is a 16th-century Ottoman structure completed in 1571–72, commissioned jointly by Grand Vizier Sokollu Mehmed Pasha and his wife Ismihan Sultan. Designed by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan, the mosque exemplifies Ottoman architectural principles and is distinguished by the exceptional quality of Iznik tiles adorning its interior walls. Built as part of a larger külliye complex, the structure stands in the Kadırga neighborhood and remains a significant cultural monument of the Ottoman period.
