St Clement Eastcheap is a Church of England parish church designed by Christopher Wren and built in 1683 in Candlewick Ward of the City of London, located on Clement's Lane near London Bridge and the River Thames. The church is dedicated to St Clement, a disciple of St Peter and legendary patron saint of sailors, whose unusual prominence in London is shared only with St Clement Danes in Westminster—both institutions claim connection to the children's rhyme "Oranges and Lemons." Now a Grade I listed building, it stands as a testament to Wren's post-Fire architectural legacy.
