St John the Evangelist's Church in Gressingham, Lancashire, is a Grade I listed Anglican parish church with roots reaching back to 1150, when it was originally constructed in the Norman style. The building was substantially reworked in the Gothic Revival manner by architect Edward Graham Paley, whose intervention updated the medieval structure while preserving its historical character. The church remains active today, serving as part of a benefice that encompasses four parishes across the region, and stands as a testament to the layering of architectural styles across nearly nine centuries of English ecclesiastical building.
