St John the Evangelist's Church stands in Hollow Lane, Kingsley, Cheshire, and was designed by the prominent Victorian architect George Gilbert Scott and completed in 1850. Built as a Commissioners' church with financial support from the Church Building Commission, it exemplifies the Gothic Revival style characteristic of mid-nineteenth-century Anglican architecture. Now Grade II listed, the church remains an active Anglican parish and forms part of a united benefice with Christ Church, Crowton, and St John the Evangelist, Norley, within the diocese of Chester.
