Stately Oaks is a Greek Revival mansion built in 1839 in Jonesboro, Georgia, and now operated as a historic house museum within Margaret Mitchell Memorial Park. The antebellum structure, also known as the Orr House or Robert McCord House, features period architecture and is accompanied by a collection of outbuildings including a log kitchen, well house, tenant house, an 1896 country store, and a one-room schoolhouse. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, Stately Oaks is believed to have inspired Tara, the fictional estate in Margaret Mitchell's *Gone with the Wind*, and remains part of the Jonesboro Historic District, now maintained by Historical Jonesboro/Clayton County Inc.
