The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center is a major cultural complex in Athens's Kallithea Municipality, completed in 2016 and designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano. The $861 million project, funded by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and later donated to the Greek state, integrates new homes for the National Library of Greece and the Greek National Opera within a sprawling 210,000-square-meter park. Rising to 46 meters, the modern facility stands as an architectural heritage monument, combining theatre and opera functions with landscaped recreational space to create a multipurpose cultural and civic destination.
