The Swedenborgian Church, completed in 1895 in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood, stands as one of California's earliest pure Arts and Crafts buildings. Designed collaboratively by A. Page Brown, A. C. Schweinfurth, and Bernard Maybeck—with artistic contributions from painter William Keith and designer Bruce Porter—the complex was built for a Swedenborgian congregation. Its Arts and Crafts aesthetic reflects the movement's emphasis on handcrafted detail and natural materials. The church was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2004 and remains listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
