Taylors Falls Public Library in Minnesota is a historic public library housed in a 19th-century building that exemplifies pre-Carnegie small-town library design. Originally constructed as a tailor shop in 1854, the structure was remodeled and repurposed as a library in 1887, where it continues to operate today. The building displays Carpenter Gothic and Stick style architectural elements and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 for its significance in documenting local architectural and educational history, particularly as an intact example of modest library buildings predating the widespread establishment of Carnegie libraries and mobile library services.
