Opened in 1928 in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, The Peninsula Hong Kong is a colonial-style Art Deco luxury hotel and the flagship property of The Peninsula Hotels group, part of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels Group. It was the first establishment to operate under the Peninsula brand. An expansion in 1994 introduced modern elements while preserving the hotel's colonial character. The property is renowned for its distinctive fleet of Rolls-Royces finished in "Peninsula green," a signature feature that has become an iconic symbol of the hotel's luxury service.
