The Thomas Ayer House, located at 8 Grove Street in Winchester, Massachusetts, is a historic residence built around 1864 for a prominent local businessman and politician. A conservative but carefully detailed example of early Italianate architecture, the house exemplifies the Renaissance Revival sensibilities of its era. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
