Thomas Jefferson Association Building
New York City, United States

Exterior only
Visible from the street; the inside is private.
The Thomas Jefferson Association Building stood in Brooklyn Heights as an office structure designed by Brooklyn architect Frank Freeman and completed in 1890. A notable exemplar of the Richardsonian Romanesque style, the building showcased the robust, ornamental masonry characteristic of that architectural movement. It remained a fixture of the neighborhood for seven decades before its demolition in 1960 to accommodate a new street.
