Tillman Hall, a historic academic building on the campus of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina, was constructed in 1894 in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. The three-story red brick structure features a basement and attic, a combination gabled and hipped roof, projecting bay windows, and a distinctive conical-roofed clock tower with an open belfry. Originally called Main Building, it was renamed Tillman Hall in 1962 after Benjamin Tillman, a South Carolina governor and Democratic U.S. Senator. The building's auditorium has hosted a varied array of performances and has served as a filming location for horror films, including portions of *Carrie 2* and the 2008 film *Asylum*. Tillman Hall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
