Trollenäs Castle, located in Eslöv Municipality, Scania, in southern Sweden, evolved from a 14th-century fortress into a Renaissance-style château. The current structure dates to 1559 and has belonged to only two families—the Thotts and the Trolles—throughout its history. In the late 19th century, architect Ferdinand Meldahl undertook a renovation designed to give the castle the appearance of a French Renaissance residence. Today it functions as a public venue, hosting weddings, conferences, and other events, with a café situated in the surrounding park. The complex is recognized as an individual listed building in Sweden's heritage register.
