The U.S. Bancorp Tower, a 42-story modernist skyscraper completed in 1983, stands as Portland, Oregon's second-tallest building at 163.4 meters. Designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the structure commands nearly 69,000 square meters of office space—the largest volume of any building in the state.
