Unilever House is a Grade II listed office building in Neoclassical Art Deco style, located on New Bridge Street at Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, London. Built beginning in 1929 as the London headquarters for Lever Brothers—which merged to form Unilever in 1930—the building features a distinctive tall, curving frontage overlooking Blackfriars Bridge and the River Thames. The site had previously held Bridewell Palace, a Tudor royal residence that was later converted to a poorhouse and prison before its demolition in 1864, followed by De Keyser's Royal Hotel until Lord Leverhulme leased the land for his soap manufacturing enterprise.
