The Union Baptist Church stands at 1913 and 1921 Main Street in Hartford, Connecticut, a Gothic Revival structure designed by architect Henry Martyn Congdon. Originally built as an Episcopal church, it became the home of an African-American Baptist congregation that gained prominence under the leadership of Reverend John C. Jackson (1866–1953), whose ministry made significant contributions to civil rights advocacy in Connecticut. The church and its adjacent parsonage were designated to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
