Union Station in Columbia, South Carolina, is a brick and stone railway depot completed in 1902 and designed by architect Frank Pierce Milburn for the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad and Southern Railway. The building exemplifies Tudor Revival and Jacobethan Revival architecture, distinguished by its stepped gables and towering chimneys. Though named a union station, it served only the Atlantic Coast Line and Southern Railway; the competing Seaboard Air Line Railroad maintained its own separate station approximately half a mile away. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
