Union Station in downtown Palmer, Massachusetts, is a historic Romanesque Revival railroad station designed by H. H. Richardson and opened in June 1884. Built to consolidate two separate nearby stations, it served the junction of three rail lines: the Boston and Albany Railroad, the New London Northern Railroad, and the Ware River Railroad. The grounds were originally designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the station remains a notable example of Richardson's architectural legacy.
