Located on a two-acre corner plot at East Main Street and Smith Avenue in Mount Kisco, Westchester County, New York, this historic Methodist complex comprises a church and parsonage designed in complementary period styles. The New Castle Methodist Episcopal Church, designed by J. King and built in 1868 by builder Edward Dauchey, exemplifies the Carpenter Gothic style with its characteristic wooden detailing and pointed-arch forms. The adjacent Victorian-style parsonage, constructed three years later in 1871, completes the ensemble. Known today as the United Methodist Church of Mt. Kisco, both structures were recognized together on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
