The Bridgeport Main Post Office, located at 120 Middle Street in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is a three-story Moderne and Art Deco structure completed in 1934. Designed by Louis A. Simon, the supervising architect of the United States Treasury Department, the building exemplifies the federal government's commitment to architectural quality during the Depression era. Its interior features murals by R. L. Lambden in the lobby depicting mail delivery through the ages, artwork commissioned through the Treasury Department's Section of Painting and Sculpture. The post office was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
