Located at the intersection of Main and Church streets in Middleport, New York, this brick post office was erected in 1940 as one of only three buildings in the state to combine modernist form with Colonial Revival details. Serving ZIP Code 14105 across Middleport and surrounding areas of Hartland and Royalton, it features an interior mural commissioned by the Treasury Department. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, marking the sole current historic designation in Middleport and part of a significant statewide group of post offices, including three others in Niagara County.
