Located at 1304 Pinhook Road in Lafayette, Louisiana, the Vermilion Inn—now known as Café Vermilionville—is a two-story Greek Revival structure built circa 1835 near the Vermilion River. Originally standing in a rural landscape, the building has been absorbed into Lafayette's expanding suburbs. During the Civil War, it was occupied by Union troops during the 1863 Battle of Vermilion Bayou. The inn was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 13, 1983.
